1. We started by trying to answer questions that would give me a general overview of my personal vision. Then we slowly discussed "God moments" and people who have effected my Christian walk.
2. The discussion did help but we both felt as though we could not define my vision in just one weekly mentoring meeting. We are going to carry over this weeks thoughts to the next week and see if I could narrow down my vision opposed to it being so broad.
3. God's calling. (Why I believe he brought me where I am today and where he is calling me in the future.)
1. Today's experience was meaningful because we were able to share with each other what areas of ministry God has gifted each of us in. It's so encouraging to see how God has uniquely crafted his body of believers with gifts and talents that reach out to a wide aray of people.
2. The visions statement discussion was good but I feel like God is still working in my heart to reveal his specific vision for my life each day. We decided to think about the statement and come back next week with ideas.
3. Today we discussed quiet times and how God is teaching us through them.
1. Today I really got to share some of the characteristics that I admire and what I am passionate about.
2. The discussion that included the items above helped me develop my Personal Vision Statement. It did not overwelm me, it just brought some things to focus which I need to develop more for myself.
3. We discussed my patience with God's will for my life and allowing his plan to overshadow mine.
